The North Florida Suzuki School teaches violin and guitar lessons using the principles and methods developed by Dr. Shinichi Suzuki. At the core of the Suzuki philosophy is the idea that every child has talent and can become a successful, thoughtful, and caring person through studying music. The method approaches music education the same way children learn to speak their native language; through listening, imitation, and repetition in a positive, supportive learning environment. We emphasize musical and personal growth through individual and group instruction, which helps develop technique, musicianship, and kind hearts.
